Rabih & Pamela Farah
Bia Beirut Founders

We are husband and wife team. My name is Rabih. I am from Beirut Lebanon. My wife Pamela is from Cork. and Pamela. She's the Bia and I'm the Beirut!
We met in Oman in 2004. I was a Learning and Development Consultant whilst Pamela was a School Principal. We moved back to Ireland in 2023 and in 2024 decided to share our love our Lebanese food.
Bia Beirut began in a small kitchen in Cork. We started cooking the food we missed, the food we loved - the food that brings people together. It wasn't long before the flavours and warmth of our cooking got attention. Market by market, one tasting at a time, people discovered something different — not just the food, but the feeling behind it.
Our hummus and muhamara became legendary — not because they were trendy, but because they were real. Our food is crafted by hand, using recipes passed down through my family and reimagined with the care and creativity that comes from a life lived between two cultures. Now, as Bia Beirut grows from market stalls to supermarket shelves, that same heart, craft and love are going with it.
This is family food, made fresh, naturally authentic, and full of life. We make food the traditional way — by hand, a sprinkle of love and never with shortcuts. Good food doesn't have to be complicated.
